After Prom is a drug
and alcohol-free evening/overnight provided for our students regardless
of whether or not they attend the Prom. The celebration is meant to
provide a safe and fun alternative to other, less desirable after prom
activities.
The 2009 After Prom party
was a success with over 400 Loveland juniors, seniors and their dates
attending. Our theme this year was "CineMagic"
based on several current and movie favorites including "The Dark
Knight", "Grease", "Hotel for Dogs",
"School of Rock", "Secret Life of Bees", "G.I.
Joe", and "What Happens in Vegas." After Prom
provides all the games, activities,
food, drinks and prizes that we can stuff into our high school including many large inflatables, a casino, a magician, movies, laser tag,
Rock Band, a human foosball game, a diner and more!
To make
this event such a success each
year, we count on the support of the parents, community and the administration.
We are blessed to have over 200 volunteers that work to provide this safe alternative for celebration to over
400
teenagers after the prom. But as more and more students participate
each year, it requires more volunteers and funding.
